I rarely get star struck because I've had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people that are "famous" - Chicago Personalities. I've had the pleasure of not just meeting them and talking to them, but building relationships with Chicago personalities, such as Michael Jordan, Twista, and many others.
Yesterday I had an awesome interview with the co-host of Windy City Live, Ryan Chiaverini. He is certainly a down to earth guy, has a real perspective on life, but he is on TV and he showed me some weird things that happens to him. I guess once you get on TV, some people just unleash their inner-weirdness. I can't share those stories, but let's just say... it was WEIRD!
Another cool thing happened: Ryan also brought along another news reporter, Jason Knowles. Jason was such a sweet guy as well and I hope to interview him soon because I know he has seen some crazy shit being the criminal investigative reporter. Chicago is a wild place, y'all.
The coolest part about my time with Ryan was when we walked outside of our shoot location (thanks to Rockit for allowing us to film in their venue) and I offered to drive Ryan and Jason home; and they accepted and we got to know each other even more, outside the interview-esq environment.
The moments I will remember most about yesterday are: I had the chance to meet two real people who have real stories and were so open to talk to me and Lindsay (and our viewers) - I also have to give a shout out to Lindsay (who is pregnant). She filmed our interview, was cool with taking Jason and Ryan home and continues making serious sacrifices for me and the show.

Michael Jordan
Twista
Ryan Chiaverini
Jason Knowles
And the list really continues. The Scott Emo Show has opened so many amazing doors for me and allowed me to get connected to people that I never would have imagined I'd be talking to. I am grateful for every interview we get. I don't solely focus on interviewing Chicago personalities because I believe that every single person has a story and someone else can relate to that story. You don't have to be on TV to share a personal story that can have a significant affect on someone else.
The Scott Emo Show family is building a Chicago talk show from the bottom and one day I to will become a Chicago personality so I can continue meeting great people that will inspire our viewers. It's a game and a business, but at the end of the day, but it's the only life I want to lead and live. I look forward to continuing this journey with all of you amazing people who believe and support the show and I look forward to meeting every fan soon!
All love,
Scott Emo
